I’m so incredibly excited to share with you this book on Day 2 of cookbook week!  Cupcakery: Party-perfect Cupcakes in a Flash by Toni Miller is a genius book showing that with a few colorful supplies and planning you can create the most delicoius, fun and themed cupcakes for any occasion!

Toni and I have one awesome thing in common… we’re both Army Wives!  Toni and I were connected through our blogs (she’s the mastermind behind Make. Bake. Celebrate.) a few years ago and once we found out we were both Army Wives… well we bonded instantly.  There have been many late nights chatting with Toni about Army life and cupcakes!  It’s a unique friendship unline any other I have and I’m giddy with joy to know her!

When Toni told me she was writing a cookbook all about cupcakes I was ELATED for her!  If you already know Toni and MBC, you’ll know that her cupcakes are always bright & colorful and her piping skills with the frosting is pure perfection!

Thanksgiving is my favorite upcoming holiday, and I always make pecan pie! I use a recipe that my dad found in a magazine years ago, and we’ve never found another one better.
    Thanks!

I absolutely love fall and I celebrate the first day of fall just like a holiday. My tradition is to make my homemade caramel corn for all my friends, family and my boys teachers and school support staff.

I like Thanksgiving as a holiday. Every year, we bake my grandmother’s recipe for Sweet Potato Pie. It has become a family tradition.

My hands down favorite cookbook is the one I made when my sister got married of all the family recipes. Best.cookbook.ever! These look pretty awesome, though!

I bake for anything! I would bake just because someone said they were hungry. I love to make food that makes people swoon, get weak in the knees and pause for a moment to just enjoy life. The Cupcakery cookbook looks like so much fun! I may have to get it today just because the frosting on the little cupcakes looks so good!

Thanksgiving is my favorite cooking holiday. So many awesome recipes from old favorites to new ones. I always make pumpkin bars, which my 27 year old daughter asks for each year.

I love Thanksgiving! I love Christmas too, but Thanksgiving is more laid back in our family. It seems like Christmas is always a bit more crazy. Plus with Thanksgiving you can have pumpkin stuff! Yum! If I don’t bring pumpkin gooey bars to the family feast… I think they just may disown me. lol
