Today’s post is a little different! Today, I’m sharing with you a stunningly beautiful vintage baby shower from Natalie of Natalie Creates. Her party showcases some of my most favorite things including fresh flowers, pastel colors and inventive ways to jars to display the silverware and candy! I really hope you are inspired from Natalie’s creativity as much as I am!
From Natalie:
“With the recent announcement of our dear friend, Wendy, expecting a baby girl we immediately started planning the sweetest baby shower to celebrate the mom-to-be. Inspired by the pastel colors of Spring, we decided to pursue a soft yet fun color palette for the décor of the party.
For the décor of the baby shower I also incorporated vintage finds from my home and paired them with potted Ranunculus plants wrapped in simple brown paper to enhance the garden party theme. I even styled a picture of Wendy’s family on an acrylic photo block as part of the table setting. Definitely a fun personalization touch to the décor.
I layered peach, white & gold linens on my table to texture and color to the setting. I placed clear jars full of pretty candies among the potted flowers. I even added small bud vases with simple spring flowers for a pop of color.
When guests arrived, they were greeted with an array of healthy snack foods along with a table brimming with pretty flowers & lit candles. We sipped on drinks, shared food, chatted & showered Wendy with gifts on the back patio.
It was the perfect Spring afternoon for a garden party to celebrate sweet Wendy & her bundle of joy on the way!”
