These Chocolate Snickers Cookies are an irresistible, rich, chewy chocolate cookie loaded with chocolate chips, peanuts and Snickers Baking Bites.
Hi, I’m Barbara from Barbara Bakes, and I’m excited to be guest posting today. On Barbara Bakes I share great recipes for cookies, cakes, and pies, as well as great family meals. I make baking for scratch easy with step-by-step photos and simplified techniques.
Did you know you Snickers makes little Baking Bites? My daughter was excited to find them at the store and asked me to create a recipe using them. I decided to start with the chocolate cookie dough from my Triple Chocolate S’mores cookies and change them up by adding Snickers Baking Bites and peanuts.
I made the cookies two ways and still can’t decide which way I like them better. First I topped the cookies with the Snickers Baking Bites, and then I wrapped the cookie dough around the Snickers Baking Bite to make a stuffed cookie.
The cookies in the front of the picture are the ones topped with Snickers Baking Bites, the cookies in the back are stuffed with Snickers Baking Bites. I think they look prettier stuffed, but you get more Snickers in every bite when you top them with Snickers. Either way, it’s a great, must-make cookie, especially if you’re a Snickers lover.

Hi Barbara,
I came to visit you this morning and found you over here! Snickers is hands down my favorite candy, so I guess these need to be on my Christmas Buffet table!

You definitely do need to add these to your buffet table. Thanks for visiting Barb!
Hi Barbara-gosh I didn’t even know there were Snickers Baking Bites on the store shelves…I’m gonna have to look more closely next time I shop because we do love Snickers bars.
Both versions of your cookie look delicious!
Thanks Carol! If you can’t find the Snickers Baking Bites, you could also use the Snickers Bites they’re selling now.
Wow Snickers Baking Bites!! They sound delicious. Great job mum! š xxx
They really are delicious. Thanks for stopping by to check out the recipe Lorraine!
omg now I need to get my hands on snickers bites!!! These cookies look so rich and deeeeelicious!
Definitely give them a try. They really are rich and deeeelicious š
FYI. Love the recipe but you need to update an error. The Baking Bites come in a 10 oz. bag (at least mine did!) not an 8 oz. one. But I used a bag of 10 oz. and it worked fine. Actually I doubled the recipe–made a boatload of cookies but they will go fast. They are good ones!!
Thanks Linda!
Thanks for the heads up Linda. So glad you loved the cookies. You’re right they will go fast. Happy holidays!
So I am late to the party and just made these!! Yummy!! So here’s my ‘dumb’ question!! I actually did this both ways so it’s a win whatever your answer is. But do you put all three pieces of the snickers bites into the top of ONE cookie or just one piece in one cookie?? I know, who cares right? But just curious – like I said I did it both ways cause i started running out so I started just using one piece of the ‘bites’. Thanks!!
Hi Donna – I cut each bite in to three pieces and then put the three pieces on top of the same cookie. As I remember, I had plenty left over to snack on š
Whoever wrote this, you know how to make a good aricelt.
