Have you seen Keeblers version of the Samoa cookie? Tastes almost identical to me just more of a milk chocolate coating on the bottom whereas the GS Samoas have what looks like a dark chocolate. I plan on trying this recipe!

I am currently making the Samoa cupcakes and icing. The cupcakes are awesome!! But a question about the icing… When should the coconut extract be added when making the icing? Thanks for the great recipe!

I always like to let the cookie sit out overnight to get them time to harden before packaging… if you don’t have overnight… at least 4-5 hours!

The frosting doesn’t harden like a Royal Icing does…. but it firms up enough to stack them in a container.

Twist the Oreo open so that you have one chocolate cookie and the cream still on it. Place that cookie, cream side up at the bottom of the liner before you put the batter in.

The chopped Oreos that go inside are a whole, complete Oreo chopped, cream and all!
