A return visit to Emi Nails & Coffee Bar

Earlier this week via my Facebook page, Mandy, the owner of Emi Nails & Coffee Bar here in Grafenwoehr, Germany left a note on my page with a photo of their new chocolate muffins they were carrying in their shop. Oh heavens, it looked yummy! Mandy invited me back to her shop to taste test these little goodies.

So this morning, Emily and I went down to Graf to meet Mandy and taste the muffins!  Upon our arrival, the young woman at the counter, India, greeted us with a big smile and hello.  Mandy was in the other room doing nails so I went in to meet her.

Mandy was sweet and personable and very excited to meet us!  Turns out, someone came into her shop and asked if she had seen the review of her shop on my blog! Wow! Word sure does travel fast!  I had no idea locals were reading my blog… so awesome!  Mandy went on and on to her customers about the review and how excited she was about it.  Me…  I was excited that people were reading it and talking about it! Sweet!

Back out to the other room to check out the goodies!  Donuts, muffins…. oh and tiramisu!

India makes me a delicious coffee… caramel latte and Emily and I sit down for a little treat.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen a coffee presented quite like this before.  I almost didn’t want to drink it, it was so pretty!

So… we sit down to try our goodies.  Let me start with the coffee.  I don’t know what it is about Germany coffee… but it tastes so much better than American.  Yes, even better than Starbucks.  This latte was smooth and creamy and mmmm good.

The chocolate muffin… well, add a little buttercream to the top and you’d have a cupcake!  Because seriously, these chocolate muffins were so rich and chocolately.  They even had a chocolate filling in the middle.  So good.  SO GOOD.

And the tiramisu.  Seriously,  I died and went to heaven.  It was creamy, and soft and the lady fingers…. yummmmmy.  I really think this tiramisu was some of the best I’ve had.  I couldn’t finish it all, but I made sure to take it home to enjoy it later.

Again, it must be a  German thing… but look how beautifully they plated my sweets.  Gorgeous!

Thanks again to Mandy for having us!  Emme and I had fun relaxing in your shop, chatting with you and India and enjoying your sweets!  We can’t wait to come back and get our nails done!
